Now works with Claude
Your whole season, one question away
Roster, registrations, schedule, and every family — reachable by asking, from the phone in your pocket. Ask who hasn't paid yet, what's on Saturday, or tell it to move Tuesday's practice and let the parents know. It answers from your real data, and it never changes anything without showing you first.
Stop digging through the dashboard
The answer is in OrangeSlice somewhere — three screens and a filter away. Now you can just ask for it, and tell it what to change while you're there.
Who still hasn't registered for fall?
14 of your 62 returning players haven't completed registration. 9 of them started and stopped at the payment step — those are the ones worth a text.
Move Tuesday's 14U practice to 6:00 and let the parents know.
Here's exactly what I'll do:
Change — 14U Blue practice, Tue Sep 9, 5:00 → 6:00 PM
Notify — 21 families on the 14U Blue list, by email and text
Ask it about
- Your roster, and every player's history across seasons
- Registrations, tryout numbers, and who's stuck mid-signup
- Games, practices, tournaments, and travel events
- Bulletins, email campaigns, and what's already gone out
- Event payments, waitlists, and refunds
Then tell it to
- Add, move, or cancel a game or practice
- Tell the right families — one clean email, not five
- Draft a bulletin or a progress report from your notes
Spelling doesn't have to be perfect. Ask about "Jhonson" and it still finds Johnson.
See it on a real week
Two walkthroughs, nothing sped up: one urgent change, and one job that arrives in pieces over a weekend.
It asks before it does anything
The worry is reasonable — you're letting an assistant near your program. Here's exactly where the walls are.
Nothing happens without your yes
Every change is previewed in full first — the exact date, the exact families. If you don't confirm, nothing moves, and a confirmation can only ever approve the change you were shown.
Only your organization
Your login decides which program it can see, and nothing in the conversation can change that. There is no way to ask it about another club's roster.
Your own permissions, exactly
A coach sees and changes only their own teams — the same boundary as signing in. Connecting Claude never gives anyone more access than they already had.
Parents can connect too — read-only
If you switch it on, families can connect their own Claude account and ask about their own athlete. They see exactly what they'd see signed in to your website — and nothing else.
- Read-only — a parent can't change a thing
- No contact details, no registration figures, no draft bulletins
- Unpublished teams stay invisible, same as on your site
- Off until you turn it on, in Settings → Features
When's Maya's next game, and where?
Saturday at 10:00 AM vs. Rockford Thunder, at Bee Creek Park Field 3.
Anything new from the coach?
Yes — a bulletin went up Tuesday about picture day on the 14th. Bring the order form.
Setting it up takes about two minutes
We switch it on
Email us and we'll enable the connector for your organization — usually the same day.
Paste one address
In Claude, add a custom connector and paste our address. That's the whole install.
Sign in and ask
Your usual OrangeSlice username and password. Claude never sees your password.
Frequently asked questions
- What is the OrangeSlice Claude connector?
- It links your OrangeSlice organization to Claude, so you can ask about your program in plain language and get answers from your real data — roster, registrations, schedule, bulletins, events — and tell it to make schedule changes, which it always previews before doing.
- Do I need to be technical to set this up?
- No. You copy one web address into Claude and sign in with the OrangeSlice password you already use. There is nothing to install and nothing to configure. If you can add a bookmark, you can do this.
- Which Claude plans does this work with?
- All of them, including the free one — a free account can have one custom connector, and this would be it. On a Team or Enterprise account, the owner adds the connector once and everyone else clicks Connect.
- Does the Claude connector cost extra?
- No. It's included with your OrangeSlice plan. It's off for new organizations until we switch it on, so email us and we'll enable it for your program.
- Can Claude change my schedule without asking?
- No. Every change is shown to you in full first — the exact date and time, and exactly which families would be notified — and nothing happens until you say yes. It cannot act on its own reasoning.
- Can it see another organization's data?
- No. Your login fixes which program the connector can reach, and nothing you type in the conversation can move it. It won't even confirm whether another club uses OrangeSlice.
- Can coaches use it, or just admins?
- Both. A coach sees and changes only the teams they're assigned to — the same boundary as signing in to the dashboard. Connecting Claude never gives anyone more access than they already had.
- Can parents use it?
- If you turn it on, yes — read-only. Families see exactly what they'd see signed in to your website: the published roster, the published schedule, and your bulletins. No contact details, no registration figures, no drafts, and no ability to change anything.
- What can't it do?
- It can't publish a team, change your settings, or reach past seasons — with one deliberate exception, your all-time player pool, which it can search. For anything outside its reach it points you back to the dashboard.
